Bettina Rose Jurák, dancer and choreographer, plays the museum attendant in Csalogány’s “Peremvidék (F3160)”, directed by Péter Becz with cinematography by Marcell Csillag and production by Beyond. The video shows a guard mesmerised by a horse painting who breaks into a dance that disrupts the strict order around her.

Csalogány is the project of Hungarian singer-songwriter and producer Tímea Pászkány; the title refers to F31.60, the ICD code for a mixed bipolar episode. Side-Line reports the video won Best Experimental at the London Music Video Awards, placed second for Best Performer at the Berlin Music Video Awards and was selected for Odense International Film Festival. “I am Csalogány and my goal is to make people feel,” Pászkány says; Jurák’s performance is how that lands.
